Dyuthidar Suresh has won the title of Player of the Year 2013 and also grabbed the precious World Series of Poker (WSOP) package by winning the ‘Sit- n- Go’ Event at Golden Aces poker League (GAPL) on May 13th in Goa. The event saw 18 entrants. 15 best players reserved their seats through playing other events at GAPL and three players got lucky as they received a chance to enter the event through wild card. The chips distributed to each players were decided by the points accumulated by a player during the season.
Suresh started his day from being on the third place in chip counts. He played skillfully and did not showed any sign of restlessness. The game was interesting as each player gave their best to grab the Champion’s title. After a long and grueling game of poker, there were only two contenders for the title. Suresh went against Madan Kumar in battle heads-up and proved himself better than Kumar. Kumar who has won 25K Super Deep Stack Main Event earlier in the tournament had to hand over the title and WSOP package to Suresh.
Now Suresh will fly to Las Vegas to participate in the 2013 WSOP $10,000 Main event as entry ticket is a part of his WSOP package. Also he’ll enjoy a free stay at hotel till the time he’ll be alive in the event. We all are looking forward to see him performing well at WSOP main event.
