Inaugural WSOP-APAC In Australia Takes Off

The first ever World Series of Poker-Asia Pacific(WSOP APAC) to be held in Australia started today at the Crown Casino in Melbourne with the No Limit Hold’em Accumulator event. And it witnessed a star studded playing field with WSOP Bracelet winners like 2011 Main event winner Jonathan Duhamel, 5 time Bracelet winner Jeffrey Lisandro, Barry Greenstein, Eugene Katchalov, Dan Kelly and many others.

The WSOP-APAC poker tournament in Australia will span from April 4- 15th 2013 and will have five poker events thus giving off 5 WSOP Bracelets. The five events include No Limit Hold’em Accumulator(5 Day Event), Pot Limit Omaha( 3 Day Event), Mixed Event with 8 poker games( 3 Day Event), Six Handed No Limit Hold’em (3 day event) and the Main Event will the No Limit Texas Hold’em ( 5 day event) which will stretch from 11-15 April.

A High-Rollers Cup and Caesars Cup will also be featured under the same poker tournament of WSOP-APAC. While the former will be conducted on 13th April, the Invitational Caesars Cup featuring The Americas v/s The Asia Pacific v/s Europe will take place on 14th April 2013.
