Biography:

An American professional poker player-Michael David Mizrachi was born on Jan 5th, 1981 in North Miami Beach, Florida. Michael is well known by the name “The Grinder” in the world of Poker and has won 2005 WPT L.A. Poker Classic, the 2006 WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open and the 2006 CardPlayer Player of the Year, the 2010 WSOP $50K Poker Players Championship and also in the member list of 2010 WSOP November Nine.

“The Grinder” began playing poker and left college to pursue his passion and to established career as professional poker player.

Born on Jan. 5, 1981, in North Miami Beach, Florida, “The Grinder” began his career in the game when he left college to pursue a life as a professional poker player. After some modest successes early on, “The Grinder” exploded on the scene when he won two World Poker Tour titles, including the 2006 Borgata Winter Poker Open championship. He topped off that year by winning Card Player’s 2006 Player of the Year award. With over $8,900,000 in lifetime earnings and 19 career titles, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi is a force to be reckoned with anytime he sits down at a table.

However, “The Grinder’s” success doesn’t end there. He began the 2010 WSOP by winning the $50K Players Championship for his first WSOP bracelet and over $1,500,000 in 1st place money …

Mizrachi earned 720 POY points with his win bringing him up to 62nd place (1,920 points) on the leader board from 230th. Buchanan also takes a leap to 74th place with the addition of 720 points for finishing runner-up.

As of 2012, Mizrachi’s live tournament winnings exceed $14 million.[9] His 29 cashes at the WSOP account for $5,302,523 of those winnings
