The Red Dragon Main Event on Macau Poker Cup 23 has reached the final table today at the PokerStars LIVE, Macau. Tse Jui Tsai of Taiwan leads the 9-handed final table with 2,495,000 chips followed by Zhixiong Tan of China who will take seat with 2,110,000 chips tomorrow. India’s Nikhil Maheswari had a deep run on Day 3 but missed the Final Table by 6 places finishing 15th for HK$93,000. Another Indian player, Devang Shah placed 44th in the Main Event of MPC23 taking home HK$37200 in cash prize. Meanwhile, Adda52 Team Spades pro Kunal Patni and Team Thrill pro Dhaval Mudgal have made it to the Day 2 of the Event#13: $20,000 NLH ($1,000,000 Guarantee). Kunal will start with 101,500 chips and Dhaval with 80,000 chips when the game resumes on Friday with 85 survivors.
The Day 3 of the Red Dragon Main event started with 48 players coming in from Day 2 to play down to the Final Table. Kejian Mu who started as chip leader on Day 3 got eliminated in 24th place for HK$54,700. The last remaining Team PokerStars Pro Kosei Ichinose hit the rails in 19th place for HK$62,500. India’s Devang Shah was among the early eliminations on Day 3 finishing 44th for HK$37200.
Nikhil Maheswari carried India’s hoped for the Red Dragon but ended up in the 15 the place. In the last hand, Nikhil jammed from UTG with and met Jiwan Park who announced all-in over the top with . With the community , Jiwan collected the pot while Nikhil departed from the Main Event.
The final table will start tomorrow at the PokerStars LIVE, Macau to crown the Red Dragon Champion who takes home HK$2,108,000. All players except the chip leader Tse Jui Tsai are from China making it very likely that Red Dragon is going to China this season. Here are the Final Table players:
