PokerStars, Resort Casino Clubs to Team up for Online Poker in New Jersey

rational-group-300x218We have informed you yesterday about the new deal between Ultimate Poker and Trump Taj Mahal to bring online poker in the State of New Jersey. Walking on the same lines, online poker giant, PokerStars has also teamed up with Resort Casino Clubs. This move may prove a giant step for PokerStars as it may open its doors for online poker on American soil through New Jersey.

The state of New Jersey has passed a legislation this year according to which online gaming can start from November. Earlier The Rational Group, which owns PokerStars has signed a deal with Atlantic Club Casino to enter into the online gaming world but as the deal bombed big time, it did not favored any of the business entity. The lower court passed a verdict which was not in favor of PokerStars and since then it was looking for a new partner for collaboration.

Mark Scheinberg, CEO of Rational Group said in his statement, “Resorts is a fantastic partner for us and we are looking forward to launch PokerStars in US in association with the other quality brands resorts has brought to Atlantic City”. He further added, “We are very happy to invest in New Jersey and we are excited about building a successful relationship with Resorts”.

Two more mergers has been finalized to heat up the online gaming in New Jersey. Trump Plaza has signed a deal with Betfair.com whereas the famous Tropicana Casinos is partnering with UK based online gaming giant Gamesys. This online gaming entity is famous for its multiple gaming options on Facebook. Caesars UK has already in partnership with Gamesys for quite some time now.
