Sailesh Lohia in Lead on Day 1A of MPC, Red Dragon

new picSailesh Lohia, an Indian Poker pro, ended his first day of Red Dragon Event at Macau Poker Cup as the chip leader. From 209 players at the beginning of the event, only 51 survived and Lohia found himself on the top. The first day saw some great turn of events as many players grabbed the number one position one after another. After few rounds of hands and some up and downs, Bharat Naidu from India found himself in the lead but could not sustain the number one position for long.

As the game entered its final levels, Lohia took the lead and placed himself on the number one position with 1,64,000 chips. After being on number one position he lost some pots but still managed to be in the lead. This Indian Poker pro has been active in poker circuit for quite some time now. He has won the p10, 000 No Limit Hold’em event at India Poker Series, Goa in 2011.  He finished 5th in the main event of APT, Asian series Goa in 2011 and was on 18th position in the same edition of game next year.

Ikezawa Ryuta of Japan won a big pot against Lohia and placed himself on second position with 131,000 chips. Taiwan’s Chih Feng Li is at number three position with 118,500 chips.

It can be anyone’s game from now on as players are displaying their best game. To remain in the lead Lohia needs to keep up and have to play some extraordinary hands. Keep watching this space for more updates on Red Dragon Event, MPC.
