American Trevor Pope leads Event #2  $5K NL Hold’em /Eight Handed as Day 3 continues at the 44th Annual World Series Of Poker (WSOP) 2013. Action at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas saw biggies like Phil Ivey, Joe Cada and The Mizrachi Brothers coming out to play as various other events also kicked off.

While Pope accumulated 3,420,000 chips in Event 2 making it a huge lead over second placed Briton David Vamplew and Jared Hamby, both with 629,000 chips. The Event is down to the last 8 players only and the final table is currently on. The field of more than 3000 players has trimmed down to only 55 players in Event #3, $1K NL Hold’em Re -entry. Ryan Olisar leads here with 770,000 chips while Charles Sylvestra is second with 572,000 chips. Seth Berger is third with 515,000 chips.

The more than 1000 field of Event #4, $1500 NL Hold’em/6 Handed was down to 117 with Greg Hobson in the lead with former Main Event Champion Joe Cada in second place.  Event # 5 also got underway as 350 poker players came out for the $2500 Omaha/7 Card Stud Hi/Lo. Phil Ivey was seen in action here as Allyn Shulman sat in chip lead.
