The APT Asian Series Cebu concluded on 30th Jan, 2013 at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino in Cebu, Philippines. The event was organized in partnership with the All In Poker Club of Cebu and started on 23rd January 2013 thus extending to a week. The tournament featured 15 events with the main event attracting 113 entries with a buy-in of $1,100.
The main event started on 26th Jan, 2013 and was dominated by Koreans who were fighting for a prize pool of $125,382. Jeon Seung Soo stole the show by winning the Event 7: Main Event with prize money of $32,030. Fellow South Korean Min Soo Kim finished second while Singaporean Soo Ghee Lim came third and Russian Timofei Lemanoc came fourth. With this win, Soo also moves to second spot behind Minsoo Kim for the APT Player of the Year award.
APT action will now shift to Jeju, Korea from Feb 27th –Mar 6th 2013. The main event will have a buyin of $1,100.
