Day 4 of the World Poker Tour happened on Tuesday at Commerce Casino leaving out 63 players to battle for the fourth level. There were 45 players in the row, leaving out 18 in connection for the first place with the prize money of $1,004,090.
Toby Lewis led the day with 1.816 million chips and the next in row was Paul Klann with 1.581 million. Lewis sets-up high level for himself with his performance, as his previous best finishes was in 2011 World Series of Poker at 11th place with $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold’em Championship. In 2012, he took twice the 13th place finishes in WSOP No-Limit Hold’em Max Event and the other was in WSOP Europe Main Event with €10,000.
The day started with elimination of Dani Stern, who played all in-116,000 from the hijack with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} which was over ruled by Marios Savvides with the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Then slowly in the row was John Hennigan (56th-$18,360), Carlos Mortensen (55th-$18,360), Phil Laak (54th-$21,840) and Scott Seiver (52nd-$21,840). Wher as the others eliminated on Day 4 were Mimi Tran (50th-$21,840), Dan Shak (49th-$21,840), Ryan Eriquezzo (47th-$21,840), Trevor Pope (36th-$29,780), Sam Razavi (34th-$29,780) and Joe Hachem (33rd-$29,780). And the list went on.
