David Schechter is leading the final table at the World Poker Tour(WPT) Bestbet Open in Jacksonville, Florida with a good chip lead of 3,825,000. David Diaz who has made his second WPT final table this season is sitting in sixth position currently but is still touted as the favorite to win. The winner will get the WPT title and also a cash of $321,521.
Schechter started the day with a very small stack of 52,000 but had a few good runs to lead the table. The six handed final table was formed when Tony Cousineau bubbled out. Raj Vohra who was leading Day 1A also went out in 14th place after a good run. Matthew Salsberg who is leading the WPT Player of the Year rankings exit in 10th place and added 75 points due to this finish and opened a 175 point lead over second place holder Paul Volpe.
