On the second day of the Asian Poker Tour(ATP) Manila Millions, the newly introduced team event of 2 Man Team was won by Jose Drilon from Philippines and Mandeep Narang of India. The $640 buy in event made them richer by around $4200.
The Korean pair of Soo Jo Kim and Min So Kim were second after a tough heads up battle that lasted 9 hours. The Koreans took home around $3500. Also going on simultaneously was the High Rollers event which saw a total of 18 players participate and the total buy in touch $129,000. At the end of the days play, 8 players remained and Joseph Cheong was leading the pack. With prizes added from the end of Genting Club and Resorts, Manila, the prize pool is a gigantic $3,100,000 with the first place finisher getting $1,340,000.
The poker tournament has attracted many other big names like Joe Hachem, Sam Trickett and Philip Gruissem, all of whom got eliminated along the way. Richard Yong and Peter Chan are among the big poker pros still in action for the top honours.
