It is good news for poker lovers of India. Indian poker player Lawrence Sanjay lead the country’s charge very well in the ongoing Asian Poker Tour(APT) Philippines 2013 as he finished 25th in the Main Event. He was richer by $5,500 and was the only Indian player to finish ‘In the Money'(ITM) in the main event.
Lawrence Sanjay is a poker pro from Coimbatore, India and is fairly regular in poker tournaments in Asia for the past 2-3 years. It was in 2011 that he won various poker events under India Poker Pros(IPP) and Aces Unlimited to prove his mettle.
In other news from the Main Event of APT Philippines, Nam Le led the charge at the Resorts World Manila. The 8 player final table is heavily favored towards Le who has 1,160,000 chips while Miller Zhang from China is second with 924,000 chips. A total of 27 players finished ITM in the main event but the winner will get the huge share of $124,000 out of a prize pool of $497,120.
