The next week will see some great poker action in the South-Asian continent as Macau Poker Cup and Asian Poker Tour are taking place in Hong-Kong and Manila respectively. The grand Red Dragon event at MPC is expected to witness a huge of audience. A lot of Indian Players are going to mark their attendance in both the tournaments. As APT is from 17th to 24th of April, some of the players, who are going to display their poker skills in Manila are also planning to participate in the Red Dragon Main event which will commence after 24th.
Some Indian players who entered the MPC, were not able to make huge impact. Players who made it to the second day of the tour and find themselves in money finishes in HK$ 2,000 Deepstack event were Abhishek Goindi, Romit Advani and Uday Patil. Patil showed some resistance and finished on 8th place whereas another Indian pro Kanishka Samant busted out on 11th place.
Almost every eliminated player re-entered in this re-entry event but none of them was able to stay for long except Dhaval Mudgal. Mudgal is the only Indian hope at the event now and is in a strong postion with 200,000 chip stack.
