It is Poker Sunday and there seems to be enough action happening around the world today to keep you busy through the week. Main event of The Asian Poker Tour Manila Millions kicked off today and Cho Young Wa led the field of 97 players after Day 1A. While entries are still open, only about 29 from the already enrolled 97 will make it to Day 2. Nearby in Macau, the inaugural PokerStars Macau Cup also entered the main event today. The poker tournament has a guaranteed prize money of HK $ 5,000,000 and is huge for this part of the world.
In another part of the world, the German Capital is hosting the European Poker Tour, Berlin and the Main Event will kick off today. More than 900 players have already enrolled for the event and a huge prize pool of Euro 180,000.
In the far west, the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Council Bluffs is also entering its fag end with the main event entering Day 2. Scott Sharpe led the playing field of 133 poker players in Day 2 and two more days of action still remains till the WSOP Gold ring is won by a player.
