The online poker world is set to see another poker giant entering the real cash games as Zynga announced yesterday in its official blog that it will launch real cash poker games through ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlusCasino powered by bwin.party. This foray into real money games will see the site give poker players above 18 years of age in UK access to a downloadable as well as web version of their poker game.
It is speculated that the look and feel of the poker game will be the same as their current social gaming platform but only with the added real money advantage. For now, Facebook and Mobile applications for the real money poker game is not being launched but the company blog suggested that those will also be launched by end of 2013.
While the poker client supported by bwin, one of the largest real money games operators in the world will have both freeroll as well as real cash poker games, the casino client will feature Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Video slots and also a farmville themed slot.
It is also suggested that while bwin isn’t keen on launching in the US anytime soon but Zynga surely has intentions of expanding to the US poker market by 2014.It is worth noting here that Zynga had applied for real gaming licenses in Nevada last December 2012 but is still awaiting clarity on its approval.
