Much awaited Golden Aces Poker League (GAPL) 2013 has kicked off at the Pride Poker Room in Goa yesterday. In the opening event, Event#1, Rs.5000 Rebuy, Indian Poker Pro Madhav Gupta outplayed all the other players and grabbed the title. He has a great payday of Rs. 240,000. A total of 44 players entered into the event but within an hour 53 more joined in to generate a prize pool of 4,77,900. With such a start we are expecting more Indian Poker Players to show their talent at GAPL.
This year GAPL has come up with a lot of surprise packages for the players who’ll enter the tournament. 18 top players from the league along with 3 wild entries will play ‘Sit & Go’ and the winner will get the title of Player of the Year for Golden Aces Poker League.
