Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom won his third Spring Championship of Online Poker(SCOOP) organised by PokerStars here yesterday and pocketed a $1 Million prize. The SCOOP Main Event was organised in 3 buy-in categories: low($109), medium($1050) and high($10,300). There was a guaranteed prize pool of USD 1 Million for each category.
It was Team Pokerstars Pro Noah Boeken who started the final table in the chip lead but Mike Telker caught up soon as the field started trimming. There were a total of 580 entrants in the high buy-in category and a huge prize pool of almost 6 Million was formed. Other notables who made it to the last ten included Ravi ‘govshark2’ Raghavan and Sergio Aido.
Noah finished behind Blom in second place and was richer by approximately $800,000. Third place finisher cmontopdeck got $591,600 while Mike Telker was placed fourth and won $446,600. Sergio Aido got $313,200 for his fifth place.
In the medium buy in event, nicofellow topped the table and won $472,209 while Bostero10 fell short at second spot winning $434,760. In the low buy in event, a prize pool of more than USD 2 Million was created and MLiz took the top prize of $198,205.
