Philippines based online poker room, PokerAce which is one of the biggest name in Asian continent for online poker gaming is closing its door on June 5th, 2013. The website has been launched ten months ago in September 2012 and became very popular as it was one of the few Asian Poker websites which used to accept US Dollars. All accounts of existing players will be transferred to another Online Poker Giant DafaPoker. DafaPoker is a part of iPoker Network and is a well-known name in Asian region for poker.
PokerAce’s Spokesperson cleared that the decision was made after long discussions and a lot of thought. They believe that the decision of closing down is best for PokerAce as well as its players. He assured that all the points and balances of existing players are safe and they can access their accounts with DafaPoker from 6.00 PM onwards, June 5th. There will be no change in account names or passwords so an existing player can simply login, accept the terms and conditions of DafaPoker and they will have instant access to their accounts. PokerAce apologized to its players for the inconvenience and describe the whole thing as unfortunate. But its spokesperson added that teaming up with DafaPoker is the best decision for everybody.
The last ten months was great for PokerAce and its decision of closing down came as a surprise to everyone. PokerAce has signed Joe Hachem and JC Tran as the Faces of Team PokerAce. The other two stars which were in the Team PokerAce were Steve Gee and Nam Lee. PokerAce’s software is worth mentioning as it was not required to download and could be accessed as an online application.
