‘Lightning fast and full of surprises’, that is exactly how one would describe the fourth day of International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) Wembley Main Event. As the Day four commenced, the remaining 98 players put on their poker faces to ace their respective tables but a day full of surprises sent 78 of them out of the tournament. Remaining 20 players will come back tomorrow to grab €1,00,000 prize money. Alban Juen finished his fourth day of the main event as the chip leader. Currently he has a huge stack of 5,265,000 chips.
Previous day’s chip leader Ole Schemion and famous poker player Sam Trickett were on the same table and they gave the poker lovers what they have been waiting for,’ battle of two legends’. The German won most of the hands and sooner Trickett found himself leaving the table. He paid $3,000 tip to the dealer and left for Las Vegas to participate in World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2013. After Trickett’s elimination, Schemion lost some huge hands and never looked comfortable after that. Finally he got busted when he ran into Jakub Michalak. Other seasoned poker players which couldn’t make it are Toby Lewis, Mat Frankland and Peter Eastgate.
All the players were in the money but that doesn’t lower down the heat. Nick Hicks was displaying his outstanding skills of poker. He won a huge hand of 3 million chips against Amy Trodd and placed himself at a very safe postion just behind the chip leader. One player who had a roller coaster ride on Monday was Freddy Debb. He chip stacks were going up and down throughout the day. Although towards the end of the day he won a huge chip pot of 3 million chips against Andre Moreira and survived the day. Dave ‘’Devilfish’’ Ulliot and Julian Gardner are among other players who will return on Day 5.
