2013 APT Macau Final Table is Set

Finalaptmacau2013A final table comprising of poker players from across the globe with Xiao ‘Cheryl’ Peng at the helm is now set for the Main Event of the 2013 APT Macau. The StarWorld Hotel saw some great action as Day 3 had resumed with 29 players vying for the 27 money spots. The bubble burst, the blinds rose quickly and the field started trimming at a fast pace.

Soon, notable poker players like Edin Heco (HK$56,000), Korea’s Dae Hoon Kim (HK$56,000), Russia’s Artem Lobus (HK$56,000), USA’s Duy Ho (HK$67,000), Japan’s Yoichi Fujiya (HK$67,000), Canada’s Yu Pin ‘Ben’ Lin (HK$67,000), Korea’s Sin Jae Kyung (HK$82,000) and Hong Kong’s Nick Wong (HK$82,000) departed during the day finishing in the money.

But it was the day of Canadian female poker player Xiao ‘Cheryl’ Peng as she rose tremendously leaving former chip leaders behind. She was the only player on the final table to hit the one million mark with 1,048,000 in chip strength. Peng started as second in the chip lead but spent most of the day in the middle. But it was a huge double up thanks to her Pocket Rockets that she was elevated to the top spot.
