Blair Hinkle prevailed over the six player final table to win the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship event which had a guaranteed prize pool of $10 Million. Played out in the sunshine state of Florida, Hinkle defeated Justin Bonomo in a marathon six hour heads up session for the prestigious title and prize money of $1,745,245.
Greg Lehn who had entered the final table as the short stack was also the first to exit in sixth place. Lehn barely had chips for 14 big blinds and found himself getting eliminated on the 12th hand itself. Next to go was Samuel Bernabeu Guilabert going down to Mukul Pahuja’s bet. Ray Qartomy was next to go as the eventual champion showed him the rail.
Three way action pursued between Day 3 Chip Leader Pahuja, Hinkle and Bonomo for a very short while. Pahuja who had led the final 21 players going into Day 4 found himself eliminated after six hands only in the 56th hand of the day. It was at this stage that real poker action started as the two poker pro’s showed aggression as well as skill to out do each other. After six hours of heads up gaming, it was Blair Hinkle who prevailed.
