While a lot of Indian poker action was being reported last week, David Lim quietly conquered Asian poker stage as he became the first Australian to win the Auckland leg of Australia New Zealand Poker Tour(ANZPT) defeating Nathan Gubieski.
The nine-handed final table also featured Amant Nauhria who ended in third place. He had started the table in chip lead followed by Lim and Gubieski. The final table bubble was also the last lady standing in the tourney, Angela Brewster.
