The Asian Poker Tour(APT) has added one more event to its 2014 tournament schedule. Recently, APT has announced its return to Cambodia from July 23rd to the 30th 2014 at an open poker room of Queenco Casino and Hotel in the Cambodian beach town, of Sihanoukville.
“We missed having an event in the country in 2013 through factors beyond our control, but we are back now with a new poker room partner and an excellent host casino venue; we are even on the beach – it can’t get any better than that!”, said Asian Poker Tour CEO,Jeff Mann. He further asserted that team APT feels delighted to return back to Cambodia.
As per sources, The APT Asian Series, Cambodia 2014, will consist of 13 side events, 7 satellites, a high roller event, and a Main Event having a buy-in of US 1,100.
“A new poker room could not have a better endorsement than having its first major tournament branded and managed by APT. We are very confident about having a very enjoyable action-packed 8 day event that will attract players from around the World” commented Michael Ross, co-owner of Poker@Queenco.
Sihanoukvilleis a well-known resort destination for international tourists. “We have a lot to offer players; there is so much to see and do, in addition to what will be our first international poker event. We are very sure that all APT players will have a memorable experience which will ensure we stay a permanent destination on APT’s tour calendar in the future,”said Julian Wagner, Vice President – Operations, Queenco Casino and Hotel.
The addition of APT Cambodia makes the already busy APT 2014 Season busier. With the APT Philippines stated for April 30th, APT China to follow in June, the Cambodian outing will be a sought after one for the Asian poker players.
