We all know that Tiger Woods can set the golfing greens on fire with his tees and birdies, but can he also mantain a poker face? And that too in the company of poker pros like Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth and Mike Sexton. There will be another type of green outing for Tiger Woods as the golfing legend takes to the poker felt in the 3rd Tiger’s Poker Night.
The Tiger Woods Foundation will host Tiger’s Poker Night on 16th May as part of an annual Tiger Jam charity event in association with World Poker Tour. The poker action from the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. will be filmed by WPT and aired at a later date.
Along with Tiger Woods, poker legends like Phil Helmuth, Anotonio Esfandiari as well as WPT presenter Mike Sexton, will be playing in Tiger Jam charity event. The Poker Night brings an array of prizes—a round of golf with Tiger Woods himself, “Pro-Am playing spots in premier PGA TOUR events” and other specialty prizes are all up for grabs.
This will be the third annual poker event by this charity and this time, with a $10,000 buy-in. For the more pocket conscious, parts of the charity event are available from $55. On day 2 i.e. 17th May, One Republic will headline a concert of the event which is being held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
“This unique and entertaining event gives so much to my foundation, helping us grow our programs and providing even more young people with a shot at college,” said Tiger Woods in a press release.
