The second starting flight of day 1 of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour(APPT) Macau leg wounded up today with Peter Chan ending the day 1b in chip lead with 141,500 chips followed by Shivan Abdine (124,800) and Haifeng Xue (121,000). Indian poker players Sahil Aggarwal(74,700 chips), Amit Ajwani(47,800 chips), Sailesh Verma and Kunal Jain made it to Day 2 and join Jaswinder ‘Bobbe’ Suri and Girish Vijay Sahane who had cleared on Day 1a.
Yesterday Bo Xie had a starring performance on Day a when he finished with a big stack of 166,000 to enter Day 2 with Alvan Zheng(151,400) and Jiajun Lu(142,800). Suri had finished third in chip strenght yesterday at the PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams Casino in Macau.
WSOP APAC Champion Aaron Lim was one of the Day 1b casualties along with Jay Tan and APPT Seoul Champion Chane Kamapantsanyakorn. Some of the nitables who made Day 2 include Pokerstars Team Pro Celina Lin and Raymond Wu, Raiden Kan and Sparrow Cheung.
Indian poker players who have now made it to day 2 include Bobbe Suri, Girish Sahane, Sahil Aggarwal, Amit Ajwani, Sailesh Verma and Kunal Jain. They will join the 119 survivors of Day 1b and the 87 remaining players of Day a on Day 2 tomorrow and fight it out for the top prize at APPT8 Macau. Notable Indian poker player Aditya Agarwal fell shy of Day 2.
