The Main Event of the Asian Poker Tour(APT) Asian Series Cambodia continued at the Queenco Casino and Hotel in Sihanaukville with the Day 1b winding up with Michael Lindstrom in front. With 211,000 chips in tow, Lindstrom will start Day 2 in front followed by Day 1a Leader Dave Fish with 196,800 chips. The USD 1,100 buy in event saw a good line up of tournament regs and several new comers in the return of APT to Cambodia.
Over the weekend, APT Player of the Year 2013 Samad Razavi jumped to the 2014 APT POY lead by winning Head Hunter event. He outlasted the 103 entry field to get the top prize of USD 4,080 and 300 APT points to go past Euryd Rivera in the pole position. Philippines Emman Segismundo moved to second spot in the POY race for 2014 when he won the USD 220 NLHE event. Another winner was crowned in the form of Russia’s Dvornikov Svayatoslav who took down the 41-entry US$ 220 Pot Limit Omaha tournament.
APT Asian Series will continue today at Cambodia with the Main Event day 2 and the US$ 330 No Limit Hold’em and US$ 110 WeLoveSport.com Deep Stack Turbo Events. 39 runners will come back to play for the APT Cambodia Main Event title.
