Bruno Politano was born on 15th October 1983 in Ceara, Brazil. He studied at Colegio 7 de Setembro in Fortaleza, Brazil and has been playing Poker for around 12 years and is the first ever Brazilian to make the November Nine. He is currently ranked 5th in Brazilian all-time money list with $840,779 in live earnings. He starts the 2014 November Nine as the short stack with around 12 Million chips but with the Brazilian rail at his side can do wonders.
Before his deep run in 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event, Politano’s largest cash was for $47,493 for acquiring third-place in 2013 Brazilian Series of Poker Main Event (BSOP), which was held in Florianopolis. Politano had his first WSOP cash in the 2011 WSOP when he was placed 148th in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event for $2,548. In 2014, Politano returned to Las Vegas and earned two more small cashes prior to the Main Event – 17th in Event #39 $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $20,148 and 135th in Event #58 $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Mixed Max for $2,708. Politano plays with the screen-name foster18 on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker and has $304,688 in earnings. His biggest online winning is being the runner-up in FTOPS event held in 2010 for $94,000.
