It’s the final table day at the Asian Poker Tour, Manila 2014 wherein the Swedish poker pro Raymi Sanchez will take the seat as the chip leader with 1,867,000 chips.
Day 3 of the APT Main Event saw 44 players return to the Resorts World Manila with only aim of making it through to today´s final table. In 6 hours of intense tussle of poker tactics, 36 of them hit the rail one-by-one. Sanchez was playing his normal game but shifted his gears when he outplayed Dhanesh Chainani in 23rd place to raise his chip counts over 1.3 million.
Jay Lubas from Philippines finished at the 2nd spot with 1,661,000 chips. He was also the 2nd player after Sanchez to cross the 1 million mark. The English poker player, Samad Razavi who holds the 3rd spot will return on the final day with 1,037,000 chips. The final table looks well dominated by the home players of Philippines as 4 of them will take seat today. Srinivas Polishetty from India finished in 31st place for PHP 98,000. In side events, the Chinese poker player Lin Xiao Gang won the Heads Up 64 Max yesterday.

Meanwhile, a major announcement came about the first Asian Poker Tour – APT Asian Series Cebu to be held in 2015. The event will be staged from 27th January to 4th February 2015, at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. “We are delighted to be returning to Cebu for our 5th successive year and to opening our 2015 tour calendar once again with this very popular event,” said Jeff Mann CEO of Asian Poker Tour.
