Life is a game but certainly not chess in which everybody starts with same pieces and aims to win in the end with tactical moves. Life is a game of poker in which each of us is dealt with random cards – genetic traits, wealth, education and resources etc. We are expected to play the best to our situation and conditions. Like poker, life is also not fair to everybody from the moment we open our eyes for the first in this world. However, that doesn’t imply the person holding weaker card can’t win. Each of us can strategically improve our life as we do in poker at each street.
Watch this girl speaking at TEDx about how life holds analogy to poker. She explains it with a real-life example of a man who lost his limbs but succeeded to turn around his life with incredible guts to keep moving ahead.
