Amidst live action in High roller and bounty events at Macau Poker Cup, a few Indian players joined the online battleground of poker this weekend. Raghav Bansal aka rossoneri23 topped the money list of the Weekend Indian Poker Pot bagging $7,463.93 in the $215 Sunday Million.
All spotlights of the online poker felt were on the Sunday Million tourney on PokerStars as $8 million guaranteed prize pool was up for grab with over $1 million for the champion. Over 50 Indian players joined the action on Sunday night to vie for the huge cash prizes. Raghav was in the Top 100 stacks after the initial hour while the field kept on collapsing every minute. A lot of Indian runners also busted in this storm of elimination. However, 29 Indian players managed to finish in the money grinding till the wee hours today.
Single_AJ added $1613.82 to his online earning before getting eliminated in 476th place. Amit Varma aka Bombay-lad finished his run in 406th place bagging $2219.00 when his pocket pair of 8 faced the heat pocket queens. Raghav ran deep and it looked like he would make a Top 100 finish but an unfortunate hand eliminated him in 138th place. That marked the end of the Indian campaign in Sunday million.
On Friday, Arsh Bigggtymer Grover made a valiant 6th place finish in the $55 Nightly Twenty-Five Grand, $25K Gtd bagging $1,383.37.
Adda52 hosted the iPhone 6 plus Finale on Sunday which lucky_dost shipped to win an Apple iPhone 6 plus.
