In the final 5 days of SCOOP, Indian poker players fetched a number of money finishes topped by Danish Shaikh. Danish who was once going strong in the main event of medium category won $8,052.20 in the 45-M: $1,050 NL Hold’em Main Event, $2M Gtd finishing 50th. Shashank ‘felter1989’ Jain brought the 2nd best notable score in the last 5 day winning $2,798.50 in the 44-M: $215 NL Hold’em [8-Max, Sunday Warm-up SE], $600K Gtd.
3 players as in Madan Kumar (madsysman), Shyam Shahani (shyam90000) and Shekhar Singh (ShakySh@rk) fetched notable figures in the Main Event of Low Category. madsysman finished 60th bagging $2,548.86, shyam90000 earned $2,327.22 in the 64th place while ShakySh@rk pocketed $1,019.54. Aditya ‘Donkab0mber’ Sushant once again proved his strong hold on all variants of the game finishing 28th in the 39-H: $700 HORSE, $50K Gtd for $1,221.93. He won another $1,479.60 finishing 11th in the 35-M: $215 8-Game, $50K Gtd. Rahil Bhatia added $1,919.21 to his online earnings finishing 26th in the 42-L: $215 NL Hold’em [Heads-Up, High Roller], $150K Gtd.
Talking about the overall performance of Indians in 2015 SCOOP, Aditya Sushant’s 3rd place finish in the 07-L: $7.50+R NL Hold’em, $100K Gtd for $15,210.23 ranked him the in the 2nd place of Indian list. Amit ‘bombay-lad’ Varma made a remarkable runner-up finish in the 21-L: $7.50 PL 5-Card Omaha [6-Max,1R1A], $25K Gtd bagging $ 6,428.46.
Globally, the Candian players topped the money list of 2015 SCOOP winning $9,445,987.21 while the United Kingdom stood 2nd with the total prize money of $8,534,512.76. Canada topped the title list too winning 21 events while United Kingdom (15) and Russia (12) took 2nd and 3rd position in the list this year. The PokerStars Team pro Jason Mercier has an excellent run this year in SCOOP winning 3 titles and a total prize money of $319,323.55. 2 players won over a million dollar in 2015 SCOOP. The Italian pro Mustapha ‘lasagnaaammm’ Kanit topped the money list having won $1,315,619.99 while Maroonlime stood 2nd with $1,066,374.70 in earnings.
