It was an eventful Sunday at PokerStars LIVE, City of Dreams, Macau with a thrilling action at the Final Table of Baby Dragon event and 197 players vying in the Knock-out Bounty event. Although Team India missed 2 opportunities to win the trophy but continued its good run with final table finishes on Sunday. Shashank Rathi won HK$78,600 finishing 6th in the Baby Dragon event. Adda52 Team Spades pro Kunal Patni reached the Final Table of the Event#3: $2,500 KO Bounty but couldn’t convert it into a win. Kunal won HK$14,690 finishing 7th in this event and raced up to the 21st spot on the Asia Player of the Year (APOY) rankings.
Event 2: Baby Dragon
Xiang Rong of China outplayed a field of 353 players to win the 2nd edition of Baby Dragon event. This came as the first live tournament win for Xiang who defeated Alan King Lun Lau of Hong Kong in the heads-up to take home the trophy with the top prize of $430,014.
As reported earlier, Shashank Rathi had made it to the Final Table of the Baby Dragon event with 282,000 chips and had only 8 players to beat to win the trophy. Unfortunately, Shashank busted in 6th place taking home $78,600 in cash prize. This came as the 4th FT finish in Macau for Shashank this year after one each in MPC22, ACOP Platinum Series VIII and APPT 9.
41 players were paid in this event from the prize pool of HK$1,849,014. Here are the final table payouts:

Event 3: $2,500 KO Bounty
Running parallel to the Final Table of Babay Dragon event was the $2,500 Knock-out Bounty which drew 194 registrations. It was Chun-hung Chen taking down the 3rd event of MPC23 beating his fellow countryman Yong Siang Wang in the heads-up. Chun-hung Chen took home the top prize of $81,600 while Yong Siang Wang baged $53,860.
Kunal Patni made his way to the final table of this event but fell short of 6 places to win it. Kunal bagged $14,690 for his 7th place finish in the KO Bounty event. Pumped up with 2 back-to-back FT appearances but a little disappointed at not winning any of the two, Kunal wrote:

21 players were paid from the prize pool of HK$326,405 excluding HK$97,000 in bounties.
