It’s been more than 10 days since I made an entry into my blog post. The reason for it would be primarily me trying to put a regular volume online. Playing live is a decent bit easier than online but the game is slow paced as well as for me it’s a more tiring experience. Online I am backed by a staking group and my volume had been lagging greatly cause of live poker outings. Last time, when I blogged it was mainly about me starting with a 50 BI bankroll to grind the live cash games. I ended it at 59BI ie 9BI up but throughout the week with ups and down it settled at 60BI ie 10BI up.
Shifting to online my volume is primarily distributed amongst Pokerstars, 888 and FTP.I would say about 80% of this volume is also primarily Pokerstars. My online poker involvement is strictly restricted to MTT’s (Multi table tournaments). I have tried to move more volume to other platforms but it takes time getting used to the different softwares on offer. Needless to say Pokerstars is the easiest of all clients to use but there are a lot many games that are much softer on other network clients. My aim in the month of May is to play 800 games of MTT and SNG combined.
Its been a good start for me this month. Although no huge scores but am consistently running deep in MTTs which is always a good sign. In the past 3 days I FT’ed (Final tabled) 5 tournaments. On friday i Ft’ed the “10$ Friday Fight” on FTP, then 2 random turbos on 888 and the Deepstack Event on Pokerstars on Sunday and another one on Wednesday. The thing of note is that the deepstack tournament was amongst the first bunch of tournaments I registered when I started the session. It lasted a grueling 13hrs after which I was able to HU(Heads up),3 handed the CL(Chip leader) wanted to do a deal but I refused to it. After an hour of HU play the guy offered me a decent enough deal. And playing this long I was very tired so I took it and slept. The whole tourney lasted around 15hrs. Irony was as a friend of mine pointed out same day 4th of May last year I also played a tourney for this long only difference that paid like significantly much much more 😛 .
So what’s ahead is more of Online grinding and building a roll till IPC, Goa in March. On an ending note will leave a hand behind. Got to trust the vamos(Brazilians).

Also, ending on a lighter note when I was asked a deal 3 way we were very deep stacked and I thought the other two players were weak enough that I thought I had a more than good chance to win it plus the pay jumps were not huge anyway and for MTT players to play HU is a rare chance so went for the title. So here’s an advise, when ur gonna refuse a deal so it with some panache. #troy . jk. Gl all.
