Indian Poker Pot: Jasven06 and Bblacklegend Headlines the Online Action

Week 36 of 2015 marked the beginning of 2015 World Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars and Indians are off to a sensational start with Jasven Saigal winning the WCOOP 2nd Chance 02: $109 NL Hold’em [6-Max] for $31,642. This week Indian MTT grinders won 9 tourneys on different poker sites including PokerStars and Adda52. Jasven became the “OPN Star of the Week” by amassing over $43,000 in online tourneys. Amit “bblacklegend” Jain won $21,675 finishing runner-up in The Big $162 while Vinay B won 2 tourneys this week on PokerStars bagging over $9,000.

Monday – Thursday

The week started with Jasven making a 4^th place finish in The Big $109, $65K Gtd for $6,198. Amit Jain bagged $1,567.20 finishing 18^th in the $109+R Sunday Rebuy, $175K Gtd on PokerStars on the same day. Jasven continued his good run on Tuesday winning The Hot $11 [Turbo], $30K Gtd for $6,115. On Wednesday, Muskan Sethi aka musku89 made a deep run in The Hot $16.50 [Turbo], $40K Gtd but unfortunately finished 1 place short of the victory for $1,142. Vinay B aka vinstill won The Hot $11 [Turbo], $30K Gtd on Thursday for $5,835 in top prize.

Friday

It was Arsh Grover opening the weekend with a blast in the $8.80+R NL Hold’em, $10K Gtd. Arsh won this tourney adding $2,296 to his online earnings. Poker Millionaire Tour returned on Adda52 on Friday with the 1^st event – 1 Lac GTD which chinna427 won for Rs 30,000. Jaideep Sazwan made a runner-up finish in The Hot $11 [Turbo], $30K Gtd bagging $4,055. Shashank ‘felter1989’ Jain won the $82 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Hyper-Turbo], $7.5K Gtd on PokerStars for $2,111.39 in top prize.

Saturday

Once again it was Arsh Grover leading the Team India at the virtual felt chopping The Big $44, $20K Gtd heads-up and bagged $3,513. In the PMT 5 Lac GTD event on Adda52, pleasePayMe won Rs 160,000 topping the field while babyiamhere earned Rs 97,500 for the runner-up finish. Arvindhan aka tiltalert86 placed 3^rd in the $2.20+R NL Hold’em [Turbo], $4K Gtd.

Sunday – Monday

Jasven brought the biggest win for Indian Poker Pot this week winning the WCOOP 2nd Chance 02: $109 NL Hold’em [6-Max] for $31,642. With this performance at the start of WCOOP, Indians are definitely charged up to grab many more in this series running till 26^th September on PokerStars. Vinay B topped the $27 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Progressive Super-Knockout] bagging $3,102 in prize and over $1,000 in bounties. AkhileshRaul won the Adda52 PMT 2 Lac GTD tourney for Rs 66,096. Shekhar “shakyshark” Singh won $457 finishing 3^rd in the $5.10 NL Hold’em [Hyper-Turbo], $3K Gtd. Abhishek Rathod finished 4^th in the €8,000 Sunday Pearl on Titan Poker adding $739 to his online earnings. Amit “bblacklegend” Jain brought yet another 5 figure score ($21,675) finishing runner-up in The Big $162 on Monday.
