“I think current chip leader Joe is overwhelming favorite. Besides, I like Max Steinberg. He sits in 5th place in chip count but can surely scale up,” said Nipun Java.
Dhaval Mudgal too had similar views. He said, “I haven’t watched all the episodes of the main event yet but it’s tough to look past the stack of JoeMckeehan and the pedigree of Max Steinberg”.
Max Steinberg is the only player who has won a WSOP Bracelet prior to this event. He had won the Event #33: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em in 2012 for $440,238.
When asked, Abhishek Goindi said, “Mcheen definitely in the driver’s seat with his experience and stack! Another player I like in this field is Tom Cannuli. He can put up a good fight”.
“I think Joe McKeehen is the most technically sound and he knows exactly what to do on the final table. Although short, if Joshua Beckley can find a couple of double ups, he has a decent chance too,” said Sangeeth Mohan.
Going by the odds given by Bet365 for the 2015 WSOP Final Table, Joe McKeehen leads with 5/4. The next in the list is Israeli player Zvi Stern for whom the odds offered are 5/1. Federico Butteroni and Patrick Chan, the bottom two of the chip count are at the bottom with odds of 28/1.
