Indian poker players continue their good run in as the WPT National Philippines entered its final phase. Adda52 Team Spades pro Amit Jain first made 16th place finish in the Main Event bagging PHP 207,100 and later he jumped into Event 11: 2nd Chance. Unfortunately, he bubbled this event after a long grind on Day 1 and then intense game on Day 2. Another Indian player who joined the bandwagon of money finishes was Amit Ajwani who made a deep run in the Event 8 finishing 3rd.
The Main Event of WPT National, Philippines reached the final table of 6 players yesterday at Solaire Resort and Casino, Manila. Kai Paulsen leads the final table which resumed today with 2,270,000 chips (56 bb). Today the Main Event champion will be crowned and he will take home PHP 4,048,700 in prize money with the trophy.

After a grueling action on Day 1 of the 2nd Chance event, Amit Jain made it to the top 12 with 100,500 chips to return on Day 2. Today when the game resumed, Amit reached the Final Table of 10 players. Unfortunately, he ended up in the 10th place in the tournament wherein 9 places were paid. Kunal Patni who placed 24th in the Main Event on Wednesday also played this tournament but got eliminated on Day 1.
The Mumbai-based Indian players Amit Ajwani a valiant 3rd place finish in the Event 8 of the series which Hirosaka Keisuke took down in the end. This came as the first final table and money finish for Amit in 2016.
Today, Event 13: No Limit Holdem-6Max will be played alongside the Final Table of the Main Event in WPT National Philippines.
