This year in Barcelona on August 20, he won the EPT € 48,500 + 1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Super High Roller 8 Handed (Event #16), taking home $ 1,473,127. Yes, trailing Fedor Holz is America’s Justin Bonomo on second spot with 3,442.75 points. His best cash includes $2,165,217, while his all time money is estimated upto $12,850,678. The year 2016 has been very good for him, as he won several tournaments and cashed out in several others. His biggest cash came when he finished up as the runner up at the $ 50,000 Poker Players Championship at 47th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2016, Las Vega back in July and earned $ 801,048. Besides, he won € 2,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em of the EPT, Monte Carlo for $ 126,568. He also won $ 25,000 No Limit Hold’em-High Roller B at Aria High Roller 25 in Las Vegas for $ 383,040 back in February, 2016.

The No. 3 player in the POY 2016 is David Peters with 3,366.10 points. His best cash remains $2,309,000, while his all time money list amounts to a total of $14,134,910. All through this year, he has been grinding in various big money poker tournaments. He won several poker tournaments including $ 48,000 + 2,000 No Limit Hold’em event of Aria Super High Roller 13, Las Vegas for $ 511,970 and No Limit Hold’em -High Roller (Event #14) at 2016 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) for $ 629,868.

David Peters is followed by his another American fellow Chance Kornuth holding 3,336.54 points. Kornuth’s best cash is $641,140, while his all time money list totals around $4,823,125. Sitting on 5th position is Canada’s Alan Ari Engel (3,255.23 points). His best cash in poker amounts to $1,120,110, while his all time money lists reaches $4,227,771. He won several big money poker events, including the $ 10,000 + 600 No Limit Hold’em Main Event of 2016 Aussie Millions Poker Championship for $ 1,120,110 back in January. In March, he finished 4th in WSOP Circuit – Atlantic City for $ 40,937.

He is one of the most respected poker players with his best cash being around $1,351,661 and all time money list amounting to $6,318,606.

The 8th position in the POY race 2016 is held by America’s Samuel Panzica with 3,114.66 points. His best cash includes $418,704, while his all time money list is estimated upto $1,899,667. This year has been good for him as well. He won the WPT $ 5,000 No Limit Hold’em-Main Event, taking home a a whopping $ 354,335. Besides, he also cashed out in several big money poker tournaments this year.

Trailing Samuel Panzica on 9th position is yet another Canadian Ankush Mandavia with 3,012.91 points. Back in December 2016, he won the $ 25,000 No Limit Hold’em #21 High Roller at WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, Las Vegas, earning his second biggest cash $ 403,532. His biggest cash came when he won the WSOP $ 5,000 No Limit Hold’em (30-minute levels) (Event #48) for $ 548,139. He is followed by United Kingdom’s Charlie Carrel with 3,012.19 points. The 23 year from the UK won € 5,000 + 500 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller (Event #2) of WPT Prague, earning $ 41,243. His biggest cash came when he won the EPT € 48,500 + 1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Super High Roller IN Prague this year, earning $ 565,116. His best cash amounts to $1,241,682, while his all time money is $3,813,377.

Sitting on 7th and 8th position were Jason Mercier (4,175.44 points) and Connor Drinan (3,996.08 points), who are out of the POY scene this year.
