The PokerStars Championship (PSC) Macau is underway in the dream city of Macau at the PokerStars Live Macau. The inaugural series featuring a total of 52 tournaments on its schedule kicked off yesterday where the very first event-$4,400 NLH Turbo won by Singaporean Alan Lim for HK$ 54,720. In other side event- HK$82,400 NLH Single Re-Entry, the day 1 ended with 45 survivors moving into Day 2. The Beijing player Nan Tu finally emerged as chip lead with a stack of 205,700 chips. He was then followed by another Chinese poker player Jiabin Cui came on to the 2nd place with a stack of 191,300 chips.
To the delight of Indian poker fans, a large number of Indian contingent is taking part in Poker Stars Championship Macau. The latest update is Event 4, which is an HK$8,800 NLH event with HK$ 2 million guaranteed prize pool. In this event, many prominent players from India were seen in action including Adda52 Pro Live Kunal Patni, Sumit Sapra, Paawan Bansal, Raghav Bansal and Sahil Chuttani. The end of Day 1A, however, saw only Kunal Patni and Sumit Sapra moving to Day 2 with some decent stacks.
Apart from Indian players, many other big poker names took part in the event 4 running at PokerStars Live room, including Felipe Ramos, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Andre Akkari, Chris Moneymaker and Celina Lin to name a few. Stay tuned in OnlinePokerNews for the latest updates from PSC Macau.
