The most prestigious and revered series World Series of Poker (WSOP) is already underway and has crowned many champions till now. A couple of past days concluded with some of the prestigious events where many ace players from India cashed out. To the delight of Indian poker players and fans, India’s Aditya Sushant & Nipun Java created history today by winning $1,000 Tag Team Event for $150,637 and claiming the first-ever WSOP bracelet for themselves and India. The latest update is that India’s star player Aditya Agarwal would be cashing in Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em.
The Day 2 of Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em started today with 275 players. As the latest update says it, there are only 23 players remain after ten 60-minute levels and a half level at the end to fight it out for the top prize of $391,960 and the gold WSOP bracelet. While the massive chip lead into Day 3 is held by Melissa Gillett from Australia with 3,443,000 chips, Aditya Agarwal is sitting on 2nd position with 1,286,000 chips, which make him a strong contender for the bracelet. The 3 Rd position is held by Billy Rodgers with 1,277,000 in chips. India’s ace player and a newly bracelet winner Aditya Sushant also played the event and finished at 145th place for $2,796.
Aditya Agarwal has been Aditya Sushant`s former mentor and hence we can hope yet another bracelet for India.
