WSOP Europe series, which kicked off on October 19 in Rozvadov has several amazing events on its schedule. While it has several key tournaments, WSOP Europe€808 Crazy Eights event with€200K GTD was a special one for India’s poker community, as the Adda52 Team Pro- Kunal Patni made it to the final table in this event, which attracted a total of 248 entries leading to an overlay of around €10,000. Robert Schulz from Germany emerged as the winner after beating France`s Morgan Alain Patrick Bonnaud in the heads-up battle to take down the title fora hefty €42,165.
WSOP Europe€808 Crazy Eights was a good tournament for Adda52 Team Pro-Kunal Patni who finished 9th in this event, pocketing a cool €4,264 for his efforts. Kunal Patni looked in good touch but unfortunately became the first casualty of the final table. He moved all-in with pocket sixes for around 13 big blinds and was called by a player with pocket queens.
Next man to fall from the final table was Philippines based Kastle Casey followed by Italy’s Daniele Scatragli. Up next, the two players to leave the final table were Italian players- Massimilliano Patroncini and Roberto Manfredi. With Bulgaria`s Fahredin Mustafov going out in fourth place followed by countryman Krasimir Yankov in third place, it was the heads up between Bonnaud and Schulz with the latter winning the title for €42,165-the first place prize money.
