Just before the start of Adda52’s popular tournament series- Poker Millionaire Tour (PMT), India’s well-known player- Deepak Bothra from Pune who plays under his online name ‘ bothras’ on Adda52.com has won Sunday Suits for INR 2,60,000, thus warming up himself well for the much-awaited PMT Series. The WPT India PLO champ Deepak beat his heads-up mate Naresh Kumar aka ‘ rajnkrajnk’ who pocketed a cool INR 1,65,000 for his 2nd place finish. India’s popular player Eka Vedantham ‘Squashgod’ also took part in this event and cashed out finishing 5th for INR 72,500.
Sunday Suits attracted 338 entries, attracting a good mix of the experienced and amateur poker players. While lots of notables took to the virtual felts to battle it out for the title, it was the MBA graduate Deepak Bothra aka ‘ Bothras’ who finally took down the title after defeating an impressive field of 338 entries and Naresh Kumar aka ‘ rajnkrajnk’ in the heads-up battle. Some notables who failed to cash in this event included aggtarun, Zonas, smallboy, Bhaijiii, VasuShrest, rohanrishi, Hammer_Head, King0fMerge, and The Rich Race champ chinidumb to name a few.
The last hand of the tournament came with blinds running 45,000/90,000 when ‘rajnkrajnk’ from small blind moved all-in with 3d-3h and ‘bothras’ from big blind called with 10c-10d. The board opened 3s-2h-9d-10h-Js. While both players hit a set, ‘bothras’ won the title with a higher set of tens.
