The Online Player ‘gameank123’ Wins Godfather Title for INR 520000

The last night saw India’s largest poker site – Adda52 hosting its popular Go Crazy Tourney- Godfather, wherein an INR 20 Lac GTD was up for grabs, including an INR 5 Lac GTD for the first-place finish. Coming on top this time was the well-known online poker player ‘gameank123’, who ultimately won the coveted title and became the 7^th winner of the event. With this win, he reserved his seat into an 8 player Vegas SNG on 3^rd March 2018 where the winner takes 9 Lac Vegas Package.

The top 27 places were paid out in this event with ‘gameank123’ bagging the highest prize of INR 520000 after beating the well-known player ‘King0fMerge’ in the heads-up battle. On the last hand of the tournament, the player ‘gameank123’ had Qc- 3s, while ‘King0fMerge’ held As-6h. The board ran 10d-5d-4s-Qh-9c to give ‘gameank123’ the pot and the coveted title with a pair of Queens.

The final table of the event was really tough and had some big names from India’s poker circuit, including the runner-up – ‘King0fMerge’, Shrey Maheshwari aka ‘shrey12345’, Abhishek Goindi aka ‘pomfret1989’ and the Adda52 Team Pro and WPT Berlin Main Event runner-up- Kunal Patni.
