The craziness continues on India’s largest poker site – Adda52, which wrapped-up a yet another successful edition of the 20 Lac GTD Godfather 2.0 yesterday. The INR 5,500 buy-in event that saw many regulars, pros, and the past champions attracted a total of 391 entries and easily crushed the specified guarantee. Outlasting the impressive field this time was Vivek ‘Keepwalkin007’ Narwani, who took down the coveted title for a cool INR 5,20,000 and a ticket worth INR 1 Lac to the Vegas SNG. A total of 27 players were paid out in this tournament with a min-cash of INR 12,000.
The winner – Narwani moved into the heads-up against Sagar Salla aka ‘Sagar2310’, who gave a tough fight but couldn’t go all the way. The last hand of the tournament came with blinds running 30,000 – 60,000. It saw Salla moving all-in with 2c-2d and Narwani holding Qs-Jh made the call. The board ran As-5c-Kh-10s-8d, giving a straight to Narwani to win his first-ever Godfather 2.0 title.
Some notable poker players, who finished as ITMs in this tournament, included the likes of Anik Ajmera aka ‘slotmachine’, the last week’s Godfather winner – Sagar ‘sagarpupul’ Choudhury, the past Adda52 Millions winner – Kavish Kukreja aka ‘narcoss’, Eka Vedantham aka ‘Squashgod’, the past Mega Suit winner – Rajesh ‘jinx’ Rajpopat, Akshay ‘vibaks’ Nasa, and the past Godfather winner – Sanjay ‘sanjaykotak75’ Khanna to name a few.
