This past Sunday, India’s largest poker site – adda52.com played host to its popular tournament and players favourite – 20 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions, which drew a strong field with 218 entries to easily crush the specified guarantee. Outlasting the field was Sandeep Tulsyan aka ‘magicman1710’ from the city of joy – Kolkata. He took down the event for INR 7.5 Lac prizemoney after beating a tough field, which included several well-known poker pros, regulars, and the past champions.
From 218 entries, it finally came down to the heads-up battle between Tulsyan and Kranthi Kiran, who plays on adda52.com under ‘DBlitz’. The dual saw an interesting fight for the top prize money with chips swinging back and forth. In the end, it was Tulsyan who stole the show. On the last hand of the tournament, Tulsyan aka ‘magicman1710’ held 8c-4c and ‘DBlitz’ had Kh-7s. The board was 6s 2d 7h 5d 2c where ‘magicman1710’ won the event with a straight 8c 7h 6s 5d 4c.
However, the victory for Tulsyan was not easy as the final table was really tough and included the likes of Kranthi Kiran ‘Dblitz’, Abhishek Rathod ‘dx23’, Chandan Arora ‘darkfish15’, Rajat Sharma ‘Oshoswami’ and the young gun – Shashank Jain ‘felter’.
Tulsyan is a well-known player on the live circuit and has already cashed across various prestigious events taking place in India. He grabbed eyeballs in 2017 for winning 30K NLH SuperStack at WPT India. Now he is back in the news for winning the Adda52 Millions. This win was by far his biggest online score, though he previously finished 2nd in Godfather and notched up other notable scores.
Expressing his feelings on his victory in Adda52 Millions , Tulsyan said, “I feel great. I stood 2nd in the last Godfather and winning Millions was an icing on the cake.”
“Adda52 Millions is a 6 max fast-paced action tourney and I truly love it,” he added.
