The craziness & excitement continues on adda52.com. On 5th June, the poker site hosted the 2nd edition of its PayCheck, a 20 Lac GTD tourney at INR 2200 buy-in, which drew a total of 850 entries. Outlasting the field this time was the young gun – Gokul Raj aka ‘gokoolered’. Gokul defeated Deepak Bothra aka ‘bothras’ in heads-up and pocketed INR 5,25,000 for his performance.
A total of 43 places were paid out in this tournament with a min-cash of INR 9000. It turned out to be a good tournament for the last week’s Adda52 Millions winner Sandeep Tulsyan aka ‘magicman1710’ as he finished 2nd runner-up and pocketed a cool INR 2,10,000 for his efforts.
However, the PayCheck victory for Gokul Raj was not easy as he had to battle it hard with some tough players like Deepak Bothra aka ‘bothras’, Sandeep Tulsyan, Mayank Jain aka ‘saggimj’ and Ankit Wadhawan, who plays under his online name ‘d00mtr00p3r’ on adda52.com.
Post his victory, Gokul said, “ It feels great to win after a long grind and finally notch up a win on adda52.com. It’s a well-structured tourney by Adda52. Thanks to Adi (Aditya Agarwal) and AceJack.”
