Poker Masters is a prestigious high-stakes poker series, which is currently being hosted jointly by Poker Central and Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. So far, the series has crowned six winners with the latest winner being Ali Imsirovic, who has taken down back-to-back titles at the series.
Ali Imsirovic now leads Poker Masters leaderboard following his second win at 2018 Poker Masers. The young star notched up his first win in the Event#5: $25,000 NLH and just yesterday he took down the Event#6: $50,000 NLH tournament on PokerGO. Imsirovic earned $799,000 and jumped past Brandon Adams for first-place on the leaderboard with only the $100k Main Event to go.
Imsirovic battled it hard with tough opponents like Justin Bonomo and Jake Schindler to earn 300 more Purple Jacket points. He started the day with a massive chip lead. Bonomo was looking for his career Poker Masters title but fell in sixth place and Imsirovic further increased his chip lead as a result. Sam Soverel hit the rail in fifth place. Following him was Jake Schindler in fourth place.
Seth Davies went out in third place leaving Koray Aldemir and Imsirovic in heads up for the title. Both players kept jostling back and forth. Aldemir took the lead for a brief period before Imsirovic hit back. Imsirovic eventually won the title to register his second Poker Masters victory of the week. With his second win a row, Imsirovic is the number one in Purple Jacket Standings into Main Event.
