This past Sunday was a big day on Adda52 with its popular tournament – 20 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions taking place. The INR 11K buy-in online tournament that also featured 50% TDS refund for all ITMs drew a total of 197 entries. Outlasting the field this time was Mumbai poker pro Nishant Sharma aka ‘DoJingBULLETS’, who took home INR 5,56,000 for his win in this 6-max tournament.
When it comes to 6-max tournaments, Sharma is one of the best players. He has got unmatched abilities to emerge victorious in 6-max events. This victory was the 3rd Adda52 Millions win for Sharma, as he has already won the same event twice. The player has also won two Whale tourneys.
The 2nd to finish in the tournament was Yohan Patel aka ‘AllinMaestro’ who played well but couldn’t go all the way, eventually finishing runner-up for a cool INR 3,25,000. It was not an easy win for Sharma as the final table of the event featured some tough regs in Devang Yadav aka ‘spark123’ (3rd for INR 2,47,000), the young gun Akshay Nasa aka ‘vibaks’ (4th place for INR 1,80,000), Pranay Chawla aka ‘setmeup’ (5th for INR 1,25,000 ) and Kanishk Bansal aka ‘sundunes9’ (6th for INR 86k). PSL Co-founder & CEO Pranav Bagai also took part in this tourney and finished 7th for INR 71k.
Top 21 finishers were paid out with a min-cash of INR 18K. Some notables who made money were Sahil Chutani aka ‘bluffme19’ (8th for INR 55,000), Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘Ivey2’ (9th for INR 45,000), Sajal Gupta aka ‘sa_jal’ (14th for INR 25,000), and Shravan Chhabria ‘sweatmyass13’ (17th for INR 25,000). The well-known online grinder ‘King0fMerge’ exited in 21st place for INR 18K.
