India’s largest poker site – Adda52 has always been searching for some unique ways to cater to poker players. Most recently, the poker site announced a unique tournament – ‘Grand FT’, which was purported to be a single online tournament in the country with 8 Vegas Packages up for grabs!
The ‘Grand FT’ played this past Sunday drew a strong field with 453 entries ((including 176 re-entries) and it lasted for a little less than 8 hours. After grueling battles of several hours, 8 players emerged as the winners and each of them was awarded INR 2 Lac Vegas Package, which include $1000 buy-in for the Mini Main Event in Vegas on 1st July 2019 + travel & stay expenses.

Singhvi, Kumar, Tulsyan and Gandhi are well-known names on India’s poker landscape. They have previously won and cashed several prestigious online tournaments on major Indian poker sites.
Singhvi has won various online tournaments and leaderboards on Adda52. Some of his notable scores over the last one year include his win in Adda52 Millions and Ace Race 1 Leaderboard. He ended 2018 in style by winning ‘Play with PatriK Package’ to play with Patrik Antonius in Goa.
Expressing his feelings on Vegas Package win, Singhvi said, “It feels good to secure a seat in the ‘Grand FT’ tourney. I have never played a WSOP event, so hopefully will get to realize that dream this year”.
While Kumar was not available for the comment, we got in touch with Tulsyan who seemed very happy after his win and said, “It was a hard grind. As always, it feels nice to win a tournament. Because of some other commitments, I am not able to go to Vegas, hence will be cashing the prize money.”
Tulsyan is a well-known name in the Indian poker circuit. He has scooped several live and online scores. In June 2018, he won Adda52 Millions and has added yet another score this past Sunday.
We also caught-up with Avneesh Munjal who expressed his feelings saying, “Well, the feeling is just surreal. I have been to Vegas before but playing in WSOP will be a dream come true.”
He further added saying, “Adda52, I believe, is doing an amazing job by giving opportunities like this to players whose bankrolls don’t allow them to go and participate at such a grand stage. Looking forward to the World Series of Poker!…Kudos to the management and team at Adda52!”
Speaking about his Vegas Package win, Sreekanth Narayan said, “It feels really good. After all, it is every poker player’s dream to make it to Vegas for WSOP. Tourney structure was amazing and I look forward to seeing bigger editions of grand FT in the coming months. I have still not planned on what other events I will play but definitely will give a shot at some of the side events”.
We also spoke to Abhisek Panda who said, “It feels great to win the package but I am not sure if I will be able to make it to Vegas because I have some personal work during that time and will be taking cash for the package.”
Finally, coming to Pranjal Gandhi, he said, “Every poker player’s dream is to play in Vegas one day and I am elated that I can now fulfil this dream. The overall experience was great, I was one of the short stacks with 11 left. I won a flip that kept me in the tournament and folded some premium hands on the bubble to scrape through. I am looking forward to Vegas. It should be a unique learning experience for me as a poker player and as a person.”
