This past Sunday saw another high-value edition of ‘Sunday AF’ on Adda52 and it turned out to be a pure success with as many as 2,666 entries across 7 online tournaments. It was the most successful AF edition ever played on the poker site. It distributed a whopping INR 76,71,637 as prizmeony. A total of 281 players were rewarded, with two of them winning WPT Packages worth INR 1.5 Lac.
Sriharsha Doddapaneni emerged as the biggest winner in Sunday AF. The player overcame a tough field of 188 entries to win Adda52 Millions and collect INR 5.6 Lac. The 2nd biggest winner to emerge was Riya Gupta aka ‘peepalkaped’ who took down Mega Suits to earn INR 4.9 Lac in top prize.
Among other big winners was Akshay Nasa aka ‘vibaks’. He won two tournaments – Master AF for INR 1,01,458 and Win The Button AF for INR 44,674. Another player to win two tournaments in Sunday AF was Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘vishaltulsyan’. He started off in a thundering fashion by winning Warm-Up AF for INR 43,070 and ended in a similar way by shipping Showdown PLO AF for INR 41,972. Both Nasa and Tulsyan were awarded a WPT PITTSBURGH package worth INR 1.5 for shipping two tournaments in Sunday AF. Here is a quick round-up of all seven Sunday AF events:
2 Lac GTD Warm-Up AF At 2 PM
Sunday AF kicked off in style with its Sunday Warm-Up AF at 2 PM. The INR 1,100 buy-in event drew a total of 306 entries and easily crushed the specified guarantee. It was the well-known reg Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘vishaltulsyan’ who came on top after defeating ‘Rish1994’ in heads-up. Tulsyan beat a tough field to win INR 43,070 in top prize. ‘Rish1994’ earned INR 35,278 for his runner-up finish.
10 Lac GTD Juice AF At 4 PM
The next event in line was 10 Lac GTD Juice at just INR 1,100 buy-in. A total of 904 entrants came together to fight it out for the first place prize. In the end, it was Saurabh Arora aka ‘newkidintown’ who won the tournament for INR 1,55,868 in top prizemoney. In heads-up, he defeated a good reg Rohan Patnaik aka ‘rohan_patnaik’, who pocketed a cool INR 1,48,304 as second place prize. In total, top 98 finishers were paid out with a min-cash of INR 3,431.
35 Lac GTD Mega Suits AF At 6 PM
The biggest tournament of Sunday AF was the 35 Lac GTD Mega Suits. The 5,500 buy-in event went on to become a grand success, drawing 671 and generating INR 35 Lac prizepool, which was shared by top 72 players with min-cashes starting from INR 12,250. The lion’s share INR 4,98,825 went to Riya Gupta aka ‘peepalkaped’ who beat ‘hemant0606’ in heads-up to claim her win. It was by far the biggest online cash for Gupta on Adda52. The runner-up ‘hemant0606’ earned a cool INR 3,65,433.
The large field of Mega Suits saw several top pros and regs. Some well-known regs to finish deep were the likes of ‘TEAMfromHELL’ (18th for INR 24,500), ‘setmeup’ (36th for INR 16,625), ‘ImHighIshove’ (37th for INR 16,625), ‘cs56’ (39th for INR 16,625) and ‘dembla’ (42nd for INR 16,625) to name a few.
20 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions AF At 8 PM
The second biggest event of Sunday AF was Adda52 Millions, a six-max tourney that drew a strong field with 188 entries. The INR 11K buy-in event saw several pros, regulars and the past champions battling it out for the first place prize. In the end, it was New Delhi’s Sriharsha ‘Ivey2’ Doddapaneni who emerged as the winner to collect INR 5.6 Lac in top prizemoney. Sriharsha is no stranger to online and live poker. He has won several tournaments on Adda52, including Big Millions 2.0 and Whale. He grabbed big headlines last year when he won the DPT Colossus 200K SHR in April 2018 to bag his best live cash of INR 28.7 Lac.
In heads-up, Sriharsha defeated ‘Bigbluffs’ who pocketed a cool INR 3,36,000 for his runner-up finish. A total of 19 places were paid out with a min-cash of INR 20,000. Some notable players to cash were ‘zxcvuiop’ (8th for INR 55K), ‘ContemporisT’ (15th for INR 29K) and ‘Hammer_Head’ (19th for INR 20K).
5 Lac GTD Master AF AT 9 PM
Another event on the Sunday AF schedule was Masters AF, which featured a buy-in of INR 3,850 and promised 5 Lac GTD prizepool. The event attracted a total of 125 entries, which included several top pros, regulars and the past winners. It was the young gun Akshay Nasa aka ‘vibaks’ who emerged victorious to take home INR 1,01,458. In heads-up, Nasa beat a very consistent reg Abhishek Garg aka ‘thegrinder’ who settled for INR 98,234 for his 2nd place finish. Top 13 places paid with a min-cash of INR 10,000.
2 Lac GTD Win The Button AF At 9PM
The second last event on the schedule was the ‘Win The Button AF’, which featured a buy-in of INR 990 and promised 2 Lac GTD prizepool. The event drew 268 entries and outlasting the field in this event as well was Akshay Nasa. In this particular event, Nasa beat ‘Gaurav_libra’ to take home INR 44,674. The latter received 40,223. Nasa also earned a WPT PITTSBURGH package worth INR 1.5 for winning back-to-back tournaments. A total of 27 places were paid out with a min-cash of INR 2,814.
1 Lac GTD PLO Showdown At 11 PM
Sunday AF eventually concluded with the 1 Lac GTD PLO Showdown, which featured 1,000 buy-in. The last event attracted a total of 204 entries and outlasting the field in this event was Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘vishaltulsyan’ who had won the opening event (Warm-Up AF) of this Sunday AF series. He earned the first-place prizemoney of INR 41,972, plus he was awarded a WPT PITTSBURGH package worth INR 1.5 for winning two tournaments of the Sunday AF. The runner-up to finish in the PLO Showdown was ‘ANGELDUST’, who took home INR 31,678. Top 21 places were paid with a min-cash of INR 1,671.
