To expand presence in the Asian region, World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced their partnership with Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association(CTP) to host WPT Taiwan, a new WPT event in Taipei City, Taiwan that begins a new partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association.
The historic festival runs from 12th to 22nd July 2019. It features varied buy-ins ranging from TWD 4,000 (INR 8,983) to TWD 55,000 (INR 1,23,520). The key highlight will be its TWD 30,000 (INR 67,374) Main Event running from 17th to 21st July. The full and final schedule will be released by WPT shortly.

The number of poker players in the Asia-Pacific region has constantly been growing. To capture opportunities in the rising Asian market, WPT has been expanding its presence in the region. After their stops in India, Vietnam and Korea, WPT Taiwan now adds to the growing list of the tour’s stops.
